Artstillery’s mission is to use the arts to help bring to light the stories, that go unheard, that are threatened to be lost, or that need a platform.
One of the main ways we do this is we gather the oral histories, and personal stories of a community, and make an immersive experience.
People are curious how it's all done & we try to answer in 3 parts.
OUR PROCESS IS ORIGINAL & DYNAMIC
Going into a community, whether it's a neighborhood or a group of people connected by life experiences, we are focused on honoring the stories we document.
Artstillery creates site specific immersive installations and experiences which uplift community narratives. We center the work around a specific theme and spread our net wide to collect data, visuals, historic documentation and interviews to create one full experience.
